CU Center for Midwifery Longmont

The CU Center for Midwifery Longmont is a private midwifery practice serving Boulder and Weld County. We offer a holistic approach to care incorporating support, evidence, guidance and expert midwifery skills to women of all ages.

Our goal is to provide a safe, satisfying experience through the journey of pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. We are here to support your wishes for an empowering pregnancy and birth experience. We offer a high touch, personalized focus where we are present with you during your labor and birth.

The midwives at the Center for Midwifery are experts in normal pregnancy and birth with a focus towards natural, healthy aspects of women and families. In addition, the Center for Midwifery is part of the University of Colorado (CU) family with a variety of experts available if the need arises. Whether a pregnancy is routine or high-risk, or should an infant need specialized care, the collaborative approach of CU ensures that families and babies receive the care they need every step along the way.

Expanding Services for Expectant Mothers

CU Nursing DNP student and alumna Kelly Devine Arch is working to expand mental health services for expectant mothers at the University of Colorado Center for Midwifery in Longmont through her graduate project.

She, along with her colleagues at the Center for Midwifery at Longmont, uses a guide to identify, manage, and follow up with patients so they can get the care they need.

“We are actively working to dismantle the stigmatization of mental health within our clinic by fostering open discussions and emphasizing to our patients that mental health is an integral aspect of maternal health,” she says.
